Coming back to the cars, I love the sound of them and the design is just like how a Formula 1 car should look like. I haven't seen much of them yet, just the qualifying, but by joves they do look spiffing.

Congratulations Nico Rosberg, Daniel Ricciardo (nice for the Aussie crowd to have a home hero finish 2nd, and to Kevin Magnusson (first Dane to appear on an F1 podium!).

I just hope the races are more exciting than the pit lanes VIP's this year.

Niko was so overwelmed with winning he parked his car in the wrong place, Magnusson parked on the other side of the pit, a tad too much near the middle perhaps? Anyway Ricciardo couldn't fit in the middle space, the marshal placed the No.2 sign just in front of his car. So they officals got their bit of excitement at the end of the race.

Nice win for Mercedes. Maclaren surprised me and Vettel might have to worry about his team mate, I just hope he treats him better than he did Weber.

Pole no.2 for Lewis [&o] He now breaks the record no. of poles for an English driver - previously held by the brilliant Nigel Mansell, and joins the late, great Jim Clark as achieving the highest no. of poles for a British driver [&o]

Let's hope he gets better luck in the race compared to Oz

I tell you what's awesome to see this year so far...the return of Williams to a more competitive form! I'm not the biggest Williams fan of old but they are in the 'grand ole team' club and its nice to see them do well.

Also nice to see...Alonso 2, Raikkonen 0 in both qualy and finishing [8D]

Agreed - I was a big Williams fan - although that is more because of Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill than anything else.

Raikkonen is hopefully proving what I have always felt - he is the most overrated driver since Nelson Piquet.
