cost of combat supply

Piercing Fortress Europa is a new game from veteran game designer Frank Hunter, which covers the campaigns of the Western Allies from July, 1943 through the end of April, 1945 in Sicily and Italy. Each area has its own map and time scale to best represent the campaigns for Sicily and Italy and the player is offered complete freedom, limited only by a historical order of battle and logistics model, to plan his operations and explore all of the many “what ifs” that the Italian theater has to offer.

cost of combat supply

Very much enjoying the game - well up to Frank's normal high standard.
I have upgraded the combat supply of a panzer grenadier unit from 2 to 3 but my number of supplies has gone down by 5 whilst I would have expected it would go down by only 1.
I cannot see an explanation for this in the manual (although this might be my mistake!).

Hi Geoffreyg, was it a size 5 unit? Resupply cost is based upon the size of the unit. (the circled number on the left of the counter.)

Right, combat supply is based on stacking points. So a size 5 unit requires 5 combat supply to increase 1 level.
