LOS

Post by fran52 »

I'm ready with the bitmap map for Agony of Doom already divided in 9 pieces.
What is not clear for me is:must i work with the LOS on each single panel(9time) and then assemble the big map or i must work on the entire map saved as .map?
In others word if i work on each panel, i save each panel as .mpp and than i assemble the big map with the rowmap info adding the panel in position 1,2,3 and so on.
Is the last the correct sequence?

If I'm correct, actually only .map files can contains LOS and terrain data, as Tom explained in another post, in the next version of the editor will be possible to save these data on mpp.

OK,but omitting if must been .map or .mpp,i load my first panel in the editor from a bitmap file, must i work with the los on this, save it as map or mpp than load another (the second) and so on?
When in the row map info i click on load panel ,the only file possible is .mpp.
I have realized the entire 9 panel map using Map Background #1.#2,#3 and so on,and saved it as map.
What i ask is:must i do the los on this big file or i must do it on each panel?

the correct workflow is:

1) load a BMP in 'raw map info', only one.
2) save as .mpp file
3) quit editor

now can you start the editor again and in 'map info' load your mpp file.
