How do set the Enemy in the Editor?

This is a turn based fantasy game with a mix of strategy and RPG elements. It is in development at Crasleen Games, a small indie developer. The closest comparison would be a game like Battle for Wesnoth. We think its a great game from a small new studio and that this will be a solid base for Crasleen to build on for the future!

How do set the Enemy in the Editor?

Post by jack54 »

Hi All,

I was just playing around with the editor and was wondering about the enemy forces. Do place units of another faction and they are automatic enemies or are enemies generated by the program.

Thanks there seems to be a lot of gameplay here!

Any NPC (even from same faction) is automatically an enemy unless tagged with the one tag that turns it into a friendly (but non-player controlled) unit. This nicely allows for missions where you fight members of your own kind (good for story missions).

The editor is nice, easy to use, and does allow for a lot of options. It just kills me with what can't be customized.

Thanks Samurai...Yeah it would be nice to be able to create your own characters from scratch but at least you can name everybody.
