Sandbox mode for the 150th Anniversary Collection

Post by wings7 »

Is there is sandbox mode in the 150th Anniversary Collection? [&:] It does not state that in the product page:
http://www.matrixgames.com/products/501 ... Collection

It does state that in the base game Scourge of War: Gettysburg.

Yes, the anniversary edition includes all the games bundled into one package, that includes a few bonus scenerios and also includes the sandbox mode.

Thanks for the info! Have you played much of this series? What is your opinion of this series? [&:] I always value your opinion! [:D] I'm thinking about ordering the Anniversary Edition instead of the current Deal of the Week...what do you think?

I've played a ton, I absolutely love it but full disclosure, I played the game a lot and made some youtube videos, I even made a 7 hour gameplay video series (out of the 11 hour Antietam scenario) for the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Antietam, that passion and love of the game caused me to apply to be a tester for the Norbsoft team prior to Brandy Station being released.

As a result I joined the team a little over a year ago and am now one of the people who helps test the game and I'm taking on a few other roles for Waterloo as well so I obviously have a biased but my involvement stems from being a huge fan of the game.

Thanks for the info...can you show the link to your YouTube videos? I'd like to see them. Would you buy the Anniversary Edition or the individual titles? Thanks for your valuable input! [:)]

Here are 3 videos I did for the 150th of Gettysburg.

July 1st
July 2nd
July 3rd

Also the below link is played using a setting people like to toy with called headquarters in the saddle where you command from the height of a saddle. The mode is definitely not very everyone but its a different perspective that you can obtain in the game vs the more traditional method shown in the preceding videos.

Iron Brigade
