On a more serious note, its sad that so many nations didn't keep a bit of their naval history. I know its costly but even if it hadn't been the warspite think of the other grand old ladies the RN had to choose from and they scrapped them all. The US is not quite as bad but they got rid of ships that were rich in history.

Isn't it true there were several ship over the years that refused to go to the breaker yards quietly?

Is Ker-Plunk available on computer?

I usually engage in "Ker-Plunk" after breakfast with the morning paper.

Should that comment be filed away in the "too much information" section?

Any update please on the whereabouts of my bin? The bin men er.. sorry.. the waste management and disposal technicians, will be collecting on Monday week so I need it back by then.

Many thanks.

You intend to defecate in my bin and then send the bin - and its newly acquired contents back to the UK? Well I expected my bin to be returned full of crap - but that was just copies of this turd of a game - not actual crap! That is quite disgusting, what?

Anyway, in a bid to avoid such unpleasantness, I've e-mailed this Grigsby fellow to advise him of the fatal flaw with the game in the hope that he amends the code for HMS Warspite to something approaching realistic. It is to be hoped that he can make the required changes to ensure that the Grand Old Lady is unsinkable - and indeed capable of talking out the Yamato with just a broadside or two.

I trust that he will give said e-mail the attention it deserves.

P.S In the meantime, re your offer, on second thoughts I think I will just purchase a new bin….

Strangely I have not yet heard from that Grigsby fellow...

I suspect he is too hard at work, making the amendments to the code in order to bring the game into line with reality, to respond.

I will probably hear shortly.
