Unable To Open Manual

I have just bought and installed this game (I updated it to version 1.20 as well), but I cannot open the manual, either at the start screen, or the specific file within the game itself.

Could you please give me some advice, because I couldn't find anybody else on the forums having this problem.

UPDATE: Tried again this morning, and although the manual does not open from the Matrix start screen, I can now open it directly from the game file. Also noticed that the most important stuff is included on the game's main menu anyway. [:o]
