Estimating Approximate Unit Strengths

Post by Morshead »

Does anyone have any reliable sources/references for the approximate unit strengths for both sides on the Eastern Front - particularly just as the Russians were about to launch STAR - to destroy the Stalingrad Kessel? Working on a scenario - I have great info on OOBs and unit ToE's and organisation etc - but having trouble estimating approximate unit strengths right along the front - Leningrad to the Caucasus.

If anyone has any useful pointers - again I would be appreciative.

Regards

Probably Glantz's latest Stalingrad series. Covers the war from Kharkov 42 till after Stalingrad battles would be a good start.

If duct tape doesn't fix it then you are not using enough duct tape.
