What is a mega-campaign?

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

Thank you all for explaining this conecept to, it sounds amazing. I just cannot wait for this, it sounds like my dream (about 15 yrs) ago of a proper ongoing solo wargame campaign has finally come true. Image

A second and very heartfelt thank you to everyone involved with SP over the years for what is an amazing game.

I'll second what Ruxius said on the Mega-Campaign. I too would dearly like to incorporate some of the features of the MC in our "designer" campaigns. (One of the first thing that comes to mind is to include maps in the scenario briefings, to explain clearly what is going on and how the player's action fit in the grand strategic scheme).

I understand Paul's answer when he states that a MC would be too much for one designer. However, is it possible though that some of the MC features will be made available to gamers?

(I can imagine the Matrix team holding their heads in their hands and crying:"They always want more, more, MORE!!")

Regards,

Christophe
