Patch News - I work to deadlines

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Has anyone thought of writing to Gary Grigsby to complain?

This game is sold under his name, after all, and affects his reputation?

Hard Sage was last seen 11/2012, harley 5/2013.
I doubt there's still something done for this game for whatever reason.

Matrix Games should chime in here and make an official announement about the game's status.

Don't think that would matter. Mr. Grigsby has a long history of designing overly complicated games with large amounts of minutiae that have significant errors in game play. It's like a cook spending hours getting the seasoning correct and the. Serving a roast that is burned on one side and raw on the other.

This is just SSDD.

Patch is lost in space, none of the former dev team seems to be around here for a long time.
I heard one of them had health problems, I hope all is well with him.

Harley hasn't even logged in here since his post above so the patch has got to be dead.

what a damn shame. They already have our money and yet still no response? Its the internet, its not like they have to answer us in person.

If only they'd release the source code! Coding a game like BTR from scratch would probably take years. Well, for me anyway.

harley would it not be better to release exe only beta files as you fix things rather than wait for a complete/full patch?

- It would allow owners/players of the game to benefit from what you have done already
- It would give the owners/players hope/faith that you will get them a complete/full patch at some point

You would hope Gary and or Matrix would chime in since harley has not logged since the post of above in May 2013 and they are still selling the game!!!

Is it "normal" for this game for the planes to jerk/jump around on the map? I use the lowest time setting and it is choppy as heck. Is that they "way it is" at this time? Or is it me and my system somehow?
