Extra Hex Info

The development team behind the award-winning games Decisive Campaigns: From Warsaw To Paris and Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive year and theater of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue simulates the German drive to Stalingrad and into the Caucasus of the summer of 1942, as well as its May preludes (2nd Kharkov offensive, Operation Trappenjagd) and also the Soviet winter counter-offensive (Operation Uranus) that ended with the encirclement of 6th Army in Stalingrad and the destruction of the axis minor armies. With many improvements including the PBEM++ system, this is a release to watch for wargamers!

Extra Hex Info

Post by mmarquo »

What information does this function give?

I notice very tiny orange circle with the number 4 - what is this? There seems to be no reference in the manual or in game info function.

Thanks

If the numbers are next to rail then that is the condition for conversion so that you can use it. Numbers go from 4 to 1 then the rail is fully operational.

These are on the Soviet rails (I am Axis); I also noted some numbers in the sea hexes, "25" - any ideas?

Thanks

This is probably either dammage done or dammage received from anti-supply activity. Right click or hover mouse on top of the landscape picture in the middle-top of the interface to see details of which it concerns.

Disabled High Command Rules

Post by mmarquo »

Vic,

I am not sure why such a great game commands such low volume discussion on the Forum. I want to start a long campaign with a friend with some house rules which force the Axis to try to capture or get next to Stalingrad, Grozny and Maikop. We want to disable Dismissal and High Command rules - but I really would like to know how the players will accumulate/lose prestige in this case. Is there a steady flow per turn or what?

Much thanks,

Mark aka Marquo

@Marquo,

Yeah basically it just disables any missions and deadlines. So your initial PP should remain steady throughout the game.

My advice is to deselect the option, press next turn a few times, to get an idea for what will happen.
