Thanks RevRick for the thoughts!

I've downloaded the scenario from DaBabes and am going to start working on the Mod today.

Michael asked me a good question by pm about 155mm guns. I answered best I could. He might have some recommendations about the 155mm M1918 GPF based on our discussions. Ciao. JWE [:)]

Am looking at using DaBigBabes--C for the template of the Mod. How does that sound?

Playing that right now. However, I do like the upgrades you have in RA.

We'll use 29C for this and then I'll do a Treaty--RA Mod combination. This will provide three options for players.

1. Treaty Mod with changes only to Washington and London Naval Treaties.
2. Reluctant Admiral working from 1938 through the war.
3. Combined doing an entire Alt Nav from 1922-WWII.

Should be a bunch of fun!

OK. I've been wanting to completely move RA over to DaBabes-C but time is absolutely thwarting this plan.

Have decided to do an RA 6.7 fixing some of things listed here and over in the regular RA Thread. This will impact two Mods:

1. Those changes will stay as a pure vanilla RA with no other massive changes within OOB or anything else. We'll just fix errors in the Mod and then leave it as is.
2. Will bring over the new ships, as discussed in this Thread, to create a Treaty Variant of Reluctant Admiral. In will come the Lexington-Class BCs, an additional CLV, and a few other cruisers and ships. The Japanese will get the gains described in the earlier pages as well. These additions will create a new flavor for an RA Varaint and should be quite enjoyable to play.

Going this route will provide the advantage of just 5-6 hours of Editor work instead of a CRAPLOAD of time spent going line-by-line cleaning up RA as well as creating the Treaty Mod and RA--Treaty Combo.

This is a realistic plan. Will keep you up as we work on the development and deployment of the Mods.

Greets all,

Have been away for some months, and now I find a new mod in the works... cool! I like what has been discussed so far. It will be a nice campaign to play :)

John 3rd, Let me know when you need some testing done. That I can and will help you with. Right now we just had some severe weather go thru including at least 2, possible 3 tornados, plus hail as big as a soft ball and thunder/lightening. So i'm on the road for the next few days looking at damage. I can look up stuff if needed as well. although it looks like most of that is done.

I am going to wait for a change list from Kitakami and will then clean-up the current RA. It will be released as 6.7. Once that is done then we shift over to this Mod work. I'll add the new wessels and release that as a separate form of RA,

Nope, I am thinking about a picture I saw with Patton perched on top of a sherman though. Can't find the picture. Although Battlestar Galactica wouldn't be a bad idea. But the Theme is G. S. P. GP

Lookin' good General!

I went through all the Posts of this thread and have the detailed addition for warships all prepared. When it comes right down to it, this Mod will be easy. It is simply taking the existing DaBabes Scenario and adding the new warships. The work comes in creating the new ships, adding the Ship Art, PLACING them and/or deciding on their arrival times is another story. That little exercise should foster some good discussion.

Want to clean the bugs out of RA for the 6.7 release and then jump on this.

It has to after mid-1942. That style of helmet didn't come into use until after Midway. The star you can see is off center. I suspect he has three stars and the glare and angle is blocking the view of the other two.

Right. I sort of forgot that little detail.[&:] GP
