Thought of you whilest enjoying a grill-out with the family from the deck yesterday. A Baltimore oriole was dancing around several of our trees in the yard in courtship displays to a female nearby. Quite a lovely little bird.
How are the (MLB) Orioles doin' anyways, dude? My A's are consistently in the running for 'best in the bigs'. Astonishing ability of theirs to pull pitching out of nowhere. [&o]
The O's are in first place in the AL East! [8D]
Ok, so it's only by a half game over the Yanks and Jays, and then 3.5 and 5.5 ahead of the Sox and Rays. They are only 3 games over .500, which is much better than 3 games under .500! [:D]
For full disclosure, I've seen parts of about 3 games this year so far. I had to go and look up the standings, as I had no clue! I can tell you exactly who is up, by how many games, in the Stanley Cup Conference Finals, and who they beat to get there. [;)] What TV time I have right now is still dedicated to hockey season. [&o][&o][&o]
