RE: RIP???
So I get home from work on Friday and there is this sign on one of the upstairs bathrooms:
[:D]
Several observations:
1) Someone is an astoundingly bad speller..WAAAAY..WAAAY worse than me (9 year old)
2) Instead of fixing the problem, they switch to another bathroom and wait for the old man to get home, even though there are able-bodied adults around all day
I should also mention that the technology to solve the problem is well tested and available in the garage and one could easily Google the operating instructions.
3) Even though it is almost certainly due to "feminine hygiene products", something I am pretty sure I d not use..they hold a pow wow and decide I am somehow responsible. [:@]

RE: RIP???
Even worse, they are step-kids and one has kinda red hair (in a Norse kinda way)
I am reminded of the Innuit solution to annoying, borderline parasitic teens and young adults. They give them a hunting rifle and a couple of hundred rounds
(I know this seems counterintuitive but you will like the second part), 30 pounds of beans and some matches and they drop them off on a grizzly-infested island in the summer..then come back for them next spring.
Et voila! You have either a pile of bones or a responsible adult. [:)]

I like option 4. Act like you have a guest named Craper Gloge who is into privacy so you leave the bathroom alone. If anyone else wants to use it they can deal with Craper issues.

Why are you trying to meet non-christian singles in your area??

You should know by now it is ALWAYS your fault. It does not matter when, what, who, how, or why.

RE: RIP???
I just noticed something. JJ probably has a full Naval guard REGIMENT at Shimushiri. I don't have much confidence 2 US Army '43 RCTs, a Bn of combat engineers and some arty will do it. Hope they don't impale themselves.
FOW is annoying. I have a Bn of Rangers and some tanks as reserve but they are prepped for Shikukua.

No, I believe the esteemed Mr. Crapper was a Yorkie. Maybe it's Yorkish?

I bet they heard you muttering something about "Horycrappo Jima" and concluded that you must have dropped a small island in there ...

OK...the balcony is done. We deviated a bit from the color scheme I gave to the HOA. I hope they don't bust my chops.

"overstacking problem" [:D]
Dropping a "Ma Deuce" is dropping a .50 cal machine gun in the water when landing at Horycrappo-jima. Droppins a "deuce" is quite a different matter.

RE: RIP???
JJ sortie their carriers very quickly. They must have been in central Japan somewhere. Soryu and a CVL are perfectly positioned to defeat the 4 CVE's covering the Shimishuri landing in detail.
The CVE's have been stacked with Hellcats, anticipating a major threat from LBA.
Morning Air attack on TF, near Shimushiri-jima at 132,51
Weather in hex: Heavy cloud
Raid detected at 64 NM, estimated altitude 14,000 feet.
Estimated time to target is 23 minutes
Japanese aircraft
A6M2 Zero x 6
A6M3a Zero x 4
D3A2 Val x 6
Allied aircraft
F6F-3 Hellcat x 56
Japanese aircraft losses
A6M2 Zero: 2 destroyed
D3A2 Val: 3 destroyed
Allied aircraft losses
F6F-3 Hellcat: 2 destroyed
Essex and Independence are 8 hexes distant from Soryu.
I would have expected an attack from them in 1943 but it is not to be. Instead, the CVE's have to duke it out alone.
Morning attack is nicely escorted but the TBF pilots are not really the A-tem and Soryu and Ryujo won't hold still.
Morning Air attack on TF, near Uruppu-jima at 129,53
Weather in hex: Heavy cloud
Raid detected at 64 NM, estimated altitude 7,000 feet.
Estimated time to target is 30 minutes
Japanese aircraft
A6M2 Zero x 9
A6M3a Zero x 6
Allied aircraft
F6F-3 Hellcat x 17
TBF-1 Avenger x 14
No Japanese losses
Allied aircraft losses
F6F-3 Hellcat: 2 destroyed
TBF-1 Avenger: 6 damaged
TBF-1 Avenger: 1 destroyed by flak

JJ comes back in the afternoon. I don't think they have a full air complement aboard.
Afternoon Air attack on TF, near Shimushiri-jima at 132,52
