Auto attack / colonize enemies?

Auto attack / colonize enemies?

Is there a way to Change it so your empire will auto attack and colonize enemy planets (I have it set to auto attack but it never seems to actually go after anyone and finish them off)? I seem to go to war with people frequently and when I am surrounded on 5 sides I really have a hard time attacking everyone on my own other then that great game!
