How do you add to/edit the galactopedia?

Hi. So I got DWU last week, I love it, hands down the best 4x I've ever played. And at the minute I'm trying to make a mod for it. I've already made a load of new government styles, races, and race families, and I've tested them; they work well and seem fairly balanced. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to add these changes to the galactopedia. I've found the files for it, and I can view them on my browser, but I've no idea as to how I can edit them. Any help would be really appreciated, and if I end up posting the mod on here, I'll be sure to credit whomever helps.
