Bug setting up minor power

This is a strange one because I've never seen it happen with any other country and I can't think of any reason why it would be different in this instance.

The save game is from the Axis DOW phase. Open it up and declare war on Sweden with Germany. When it's time to place the Swedish units, the game will crash when you attempt to place the HQ unit. I've tried reloading, I've tried waiting a turn, I've tried several things but nothing will let me get past that.

Using the latest Beta version it is no problem. I suggest you pick up a new version which should be coming soon.

I just went back to try what you just said happened to you, I first did global war and placed all Swedish units with no problem after a save in the first impulse. Then I did a saved game at the end of the first German move after they invaded Poland,which amounts to the same thing declared war on Sweden and had no problem placing any Swedish unit including HQ's.

I also tried this in Fascist tide which you do not have and the same thing no problems loading from the tray with all Swedish units including HQ's, could something be corrupted in your game save files?

The new version seems to have fixed this one.
