Hi, great idea!

What about the 1.9.5.2 beta patch published today?
It should provide a major boost to the ai.

It should work fine Locarnus but let me know if there are problems and I'll rework the save file.

I have some even more diabolical ideas to follow as the patches continue and the game stabilises but would like to get the concept started.

After changing the initial game to try to avoid being TOO extreme ... Raap has just called the game a Cakewalk. So my response is the original design game file (I toned it down before the first post) and I have changed the save game links above accordingly. The wimpy version is still available.

Edit: I don't want to open the spoilers thread, because I don't want to be spoiled. But let's just say that I've loaded up the game, had a look at what my ships are doing, and am already laughing out loud. This is quite the game you've prepared.
