those with 0/2 status

(unless anyone objects)If you have 0/2 status, you have one more chance to make it to R4. If you win R3, I will draw one player with 1/3 status to continue to R4 so you still have a chance.

I take responsibility for being absent and making everybdoy confused on matchups so if you are already in play, go ahead with the games and I will change the match ups accordingly.

Good to have you back Red. And I think I speak for everyone when I say that nobody's going to hold your "dissappearance" against you :) We're all (or most) here on a hobby basis anyways.

What would be cool is guidelines in case something like this happens in the future. ie. wait or elect someone else to be Red in Red's place, or simply have Brutto-Bob PM you :)

As to round to status:
dodger v overlord, I won.

Since I'm 2/2 I'm ready to take on pretty much anything/anyone in round 3, doesn't matter at this point. Jim's idea about bragging rights wasn't bad though :)

Hello... I am here

Post by patriot101 »

I have waited a very very long time to hear from Kannonfutter. He has not been in the forum, and has sent me any email since 3/13/03. Any reasonable person has to assume he is gone. Chalk up wins for me in round 1. I need to move on to the next round. Whoever is in charge here can set me up with the next opponent.

patriot101, you get the point for the game but I don't see anybody available for R2 game with you. If no one steps forward very soon, I'll play you for no credit for me.

Squirmer and I started round 2 a couple weeks ago. His British heavy tanks and heavy arty are giving my poor US troops a tough time, sooooo, if you insist, I can restart round 2 against someone else.;)

And, don't worry about being away for awhile. We really appreciate you setting rules and managing this whole thing for us!

rb,

the match up I posted is

rbrunsman:1/1
vs
BORO:1/1

RobW:0/1
vs
Squirmer:0/1

since you and squirmer have already started R2 game, you can continue as long as BORO and RobW are ok playing each other.

Red,

Spiner and I (Aussem) are nearly finished our round 2 match, and as reported by RobW, he and I have just started our round 3 matchup.

Hope that is OK.

Note: the above match up is made only because I don's opponents for with equal status so if you feel it's unfair, I will re-match you with somobody else when they appear.
Birdgunner has agreed to fight me and we are in the process of getting started. That will be Canada (him) vs. Soviet Union (me) in 10/42, 6000Pts... I´ll start a DAR thread as soon as I am returned the files and get to make the first move!

I am actually playing two other WaW battles outside of the WC, so if there isn't an opponent for me in here, then I will concentrate on finishing my games outside of the WC until someone is ready.

Round Two Game Finished

WC 03

So how do games that end in a "draw" like Aussem's and mine (U.S. 8577 vs. Ger 4614) end up in the point tally? Is it a draw or a win for who ever had most points?

Winner is the player who had more points.
