That is a pretty cool story. Were you expected, by the cougar, to "putt out" in exchange for the free round and meal?

Boo! That was a terrible pun, Cap'n. Just awful. [:D]

Ah, well, I'm over it now.

Or was it Diane Feinstein? [:D]

Hmmm...Diane Feinstein or Nancy Pelosi? That's the very antithesis of the "Ginger v. Mary Anne" conundrum.

No turn yet. Summer doldrums? Maybe total protonic reversal?

Someone asked about the vehicle auction. Quite an amazing collection. Here is a beautifully restored Grant.

Wow! Plenty of choices for a REMF there. Although with an 'inspiration' value of 81, Carpender seems like a likely recruiting candidate for M&M enterprises. Perhaps an insulated quonset hut sales account manager for NORPAC?

Well I think the next logical step would be to pair the Baffin and Taint up - Task Force naming contest anyone? (with perhaps the rights to the "combat replay" videos as a prize)

Definitely off-topic Cap, but I thought one of these would look good in your restored backyard.

Apparently there is an auction of 20 tanks and military items at an estate south of S.F.
The pictured Sherman M4 is estimated to fetch $350,000

How did they get that missile onto it?

Yes, that is what I was thinking. Anything could happen. Maybe even "Tainted Love".

That looks like 120 degrees to me. You are going to poison everyone with E. coli.
