How to shrink size of game screen a little?

I just got this game. I have a 17" screen and not sure if it really matters. When I turn on the game the screen is big to where I can't
see the tool bar at the top where to can save the game,end it, etc. I have to do alt,ctrl delete to get out of the game. How can I shrink the screen some?

Which version are you running?

1.0x versions are full screen apps, you need to Alt-Tab out of them in the mid game. Also, with 1.0x the Menu bar is OFF by default, you need to press "M" to activate it first.

2.0x versions are normal windowed apps, with Menu bar ON by default.

From the sound of it you're running 1.00 after having done the basic installation? Please select Update from the first Main Menu to upgrade to 2.01.
