Withdrawals?

The development team behind the award-winning games Decisive Campaigns: From Warsaw To Paris and Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive year and theater of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue simulates the German drive to Stalingrad and into the Caucasus of the summer of 1942, as well as its May preludes (2nd Kharkov offensive, Operation Trappenjagd) and also the Soviet winter counter-offensive (Operation Uranus) that ended with the encirclement of 6th Army in Stalingrad and the destruction of the axis minor armies. With many improvements including the PBEM++ system, this is a release to watch for wargamers!

Thank you very much Vic.

I am happy with AH situation now. So if I understand correctly the second AH will never arrive. No problem.

As for GD I will try to negotiate a HR with Marquo in relation to the GD doppleganger.

I appreciate that most games will not go till the end. But none the less a player should feel confident that if his game does go the distance it won't be derailed by some anomally. I hope you fix this eventually.

FWIW I really like this game very much. Wish I had started playing it long ago. I am looking forward to DC3 and will be on the band wagon from the get go [:)]

Vic, will this work ok.

If the first GD is set to disband in Sept 42 will the second GD arrive in Feb 43?

Also I think you still need a fix for AH. Because if the second upgraded AH does not arrive that means the Axis player will not get the upgraded version. That is he is stuck with the 42 version. The 43 version is a more powerful unit.

OR perhaps if the Axis player disbands the original AH will the 43 version arrive?

Nothing will avoid this GD glitch from happening except house rules and parking the unit in reserve when it arrives.

And there is only one type of TOE of SS Motorized Division for the whole duration of the game. Could you tell me what was the upgrade there should have been?

Best,
Vic

@Vic
The 1943 version of LSAH had about 30 more Panzers and more Armoured Troop carriers (Half Tracks) than the 1942 version. It was withdrawn in July 1942. Before returning 1943 after the upgrade. It was more like a Panzer Division than a PzG by this stage.

@Marquo -
check out the updated guide in the errata folder 1.06. You will see GD XX twice. Once in June 1942 and again in early 1943
