Can you take a DGC from one machine and plop it on another? Not sure if it would cause issues (and want to make sure I have the right files). I'm on a road trip this week.

You can, just copy the files over.

Secondary question. After I finish the Fall Weiss (Poland) DC presuming my commanders live, do they progress to a new DCG?

No, once they complete the DCG, they are finished. You can start a new DCG with a commander with the same name though, after yiu rename or delete the old one.

We finish the battle and get a "GOOD" performance. Lodtz is by no means reduced. I capture two VL but did bypass a few areas. I manage to keep my decimated platoons intact but a number are really beaten up.

We await HQ's new orders.

That's a pity it would be a nice option to somehow make that happen. I suppose it could be done in a make your own DCG by following a unit etc.
