Info box on map

Post by btd64 »

Hello everyone. I have just reloaded Norm Koger's OAOW and updated it. Its been about 5 years since I played this game. One question, There is now a 1" high by 4" long box on the map that appears when you move the mouse over the map and gives info about the hex it is at, and disappears after a few seconds. How do you turn this thing off? Any assistance will be helpful.

How's it being a Buckeye now?
To stop the tooltips, just change to 'default' in the main/start-up menu.
I also recommend my tutorial tiles/scenario as well as the 3XBb.EXE un-official fix.

Thanks Oberst_Klink, Worked like a charm. Funny you should say "Buckeye" when i'm living in the Buckeye state. GP

You might also want to go to default options in the menu and choose "classic defaults". This would have fixed the tool tip thing plus other issues like the right-click menu.
