1.9.5.3 Game Editor

I noticed that I am unable to place moons in the 1.9.5.3 version of the game editor. Anything I can do to fix this? I've ran it on normal and with mods. Both having same issue.

I've been unable to reproduce this in 1.9.5.3. I can place moons fine. Two possible explanations come to mind:

1. You are trying to place the moon too far from the planet.
2. You have too many objects already in the system (in which case, you probably have a rather a lot of asteroid fields).

Otherwise, I can't explain it. I certainly don't see the problem myself, so it's something specific to certain computer systems or an unusual glitch in the game.

I just reinstalled the game and that fixed it. It wasn't that it wasn't allowing me to place them, the option in the editor to click on just wasn't there anymore, along with the place stations and ships one. It was the strangest thing.
