Try reloading.
Also try selecting a different audio card. I've had problems before when I set it up with the wrong video card.

I tried to reload and got the same error. I am pretty new to computers so my knowledge of them is limited. I have a diamond monster2 voodoo 2 8meg card. Is there a way to tell what the exact error is from. Man I wanted to play this game bad. Kinda get used to the system before W@W comes out. Any Ideas?

Did you run setsound.exe to initialize your sound card? If so you might try changing the emulation mode.

I tried running setsound.exe and the game and sound works although the sound is very choppy. I can live with it though unless anyone has some more help. BTW, this game looks great.

Thank you Unicorn and Paul for taking the time to help.

PS. is there anything I can do to slow down the scroll speed?

There is a utility called WINMOSLO that works well.

Thanks DEF for sending it to me. I dont know how I couldnt have heard of SP before, but I am glad I discoverd it now. Better late than never,I guess. Too bad you couldnt get it to work. Oh well, we will have W@W soon.

Thanks again to Paul. I am going to try WINMOSLO and see how that works.

Re: Moslo. My P3 500 uses a setting of 12. It seems the faster your computer is the lower the setting should be. So if 50% setting seems like speed racer joins the army try going down, not up.
