It has to be mentioned though that it had no practical effect on the overall situation as the Axis side didn't have any bombers to clear through. Nevertheless maybe a (possibly minor) bug here.
with kind regards

You are welcome. Pardon my misleading phrasing in the starting post.

If this were a night mission, then the program is correct, since the effect of twin engine fighters on the combat result only applies to day missions. But if it were a day mission, then this is a bug.ORIGINAL: Platon
In an Air to Air Night Combat in a Barbarossa Scenario V.1.1.9.2 beetween a German Night FTR and a Russian LND the Allied side got a result of 14 at odds of -2, resulting to "-" which was not decreased to AC as I supposed it should have been, shouldn't it?

No Steve, I initially made the same misread. The problem is that it was a night mission and the BOMBER's result was not reduced. [During air-to-air combat at night, all aircraft except night fighters (those aircraft with a black circle around its air-to-air rating) achieve one result less than normal.]
Also, if it were a day mission, the twin engine fighter would suffer no penalty, as that only applies against other non-twin-engine fighters.
