Will the Music Be as Good as in UV?

Post by Leahi »

Realized that I'd never turned off the music in UV, as I have in other CD games. The music for most of them gets very irritating after a while, but whoever chose the music for UV chose wisely. Good "soundtrack." My regards to the person who put it together. Will you be as creative, I hope, for the music in WiTP?

Anyone else regard this as an imporant feature? I suspect a poll would show: No: 99.9%, Yes: 0.01%. But what the hell.....

The soundtrack of WitP has already been recordered, actually.

It features four hours of Mogami playing a mouth harp after three bottles of Old Irish Rose, following a 48 hour WitP testing binge. I think everyone will like it.

I hope for more of the Japanese style music on the UV soundtrack. I have never grown tired of that, maybe because it's more unusual. But I have grown a bit tired of the other more "western" music, and I've turned it off for now.

I thought the game Pacific General had a really cool soundtrack. They had some big band music that was popular during the time period, if I recall correctly. Then again, snapping your fingers to Duke Ellington while contemplating sending thousands of Marines to their deaths might not be entirely appropriate.

I listened to the music for a while when I first got the game but after hours and hours sitting at the computer listening to it I got tired of it and turned it off. I left it off when I started PBEM games and forgot about it. Then with 2.30 I started listening to it again (only have played PBEM since 2.30) and I love it. I agree that it is the best game music I have heard and was wondering if the WitP music is going to be as good.

Now that I have found out that it will be Mogami doing the musical honors I am looking forward to the game even more. Can you publish the music first?? We wanna hear it asap.:D
