... and I was a lurker for ~4-5 years until AE was released. I've "only" been part of three (maybe four?) of the incarnations.

Truth be told, I was a lurker for 6 years or so after joining. I think most of my first posts (I posted in 2002 once or twice with WiTP originally) were right around the time AE came out.
