Cant install

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

Cant install

Post by Pict »

I know Ive asked this question before but Im still stumped. Whenever I try to install any of the MAtrix games including spwaw, war in Russia etc. the install screen flashes for a fraction of a second then reverts to windows screen. I ve tried canceling all the background programmes, no differance. Ive even tried going into VGA mode and installing from there, no luck.

Each try does enter a log text file in theprogramme files folder such asSetup Factory 5.0 Installation Log

[Execute Commands 0]

[File Operations 0]

Setup was aborted before completion.
I did have spwaw 4.4 loaded and working but I unistalled it in case it conflicted, made no differance.
Please any computer experts out there, any ideas.

All other programmes except matrix games install with no problem

Pict,

What operating system are you using, and what are your computer specs. You didn't leave a lot here to work with.

Then it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, 'ow's yer soul?" But it's "Thin red line of 'eroes" when the drums begin to roll!

Are they CD installs or downloads? If the're from CD's try disabling autorun (hold down left shift key while the CD-ROM is loading (lite flashing)) and try running the setup file directly from the CD. If downloaded try redownloading if you have the time. You might have to turn off your graphics acceleration.
