The longest pulse time I remember was about 350, but most were under 100.

For a scenario this size, I see no issues at all.

FWIW: Any changes to increase stability -- which is paramount -- seem to be well worth any marginal loss of speed (but I am not seeing even that).

bass drum very playable on my piece of junk with new build (551)--played it last night on my

4 year old lenovo, running 8.1, 4 gb ram, and no graphics card...embarrassing i know.

stayed mainly in double digits with occasional spikes

I posted this in the update thread...

It seems it might be a little faster using Op Bass Drum as the benchmark, but I am seeing every fifth pulse spiking to between 250 and 600 ms. The its four pulses at around 60-70...then a spike.

This is just a rough estimate. I'll run a more formal benchmark tonight.


Update...

I have done a short comparison of build 536 and 552. 536 runs Op Bass Drum anywhere from 20-40 as shown in the screenshot.

Build 552 is seeing 20-40 for 4-5 pulses and then a spike above 200 consistently.

These are running the exact same scenario on no-pulse(fast) 1:1 with hi fi on and sound of and autosave off
