INDIAN OCEAN:
Yes, a CVTF composed of what seems to be an American CV and at least a couple of British CVs appeared SW of Diego Garcia.
In the afternoon, the bastards attacked the runwawy, under severe storms.
31 A6M2s of the KU-S1 Sentai took off (they were just transferred from Madras last turn when we spotted the enemy, so they were pretty tired).
Radar worked well.
The enemy arrived with 15 TBs and 30 SDBs at 10,000 feet, with some 42 fighters as escort.
The Zeros were at 18,000 feet.
Immediately my guys tangled with the fighters, downing 1 Wildcat and damaging many more of them. Not a single Zero was touched[:D]
Then we dived on the bombers. Sitting ducks.
At least 8 Devastators went down and 10 SDBs.
Not a single zero was lost during the whole day, not even for op loss.
A total victory.
Now the subs will be dispatched and the SCTFs will move.
The KB2 is still a bit too far away... let's see if he stays or run away. Doesn't seem to be any other TF around...so it was probably just a diversion... a risky one if you ask me!
