Mortars

Close Combat: Gateway to Caen is the latest release in the critically-acclaimed Close Combat series and focuses on the largest, concentrated British offensive since the Normandy landings in an attempt to penetrate the German lines west of Caen and cross the Odon River to get the stalled advance moving again.

Mortars

Are the AI mortars a bit too accurate and a bit too good, given that our pixeltruppen will not retain their spacing, no matter how much they are threatened? :)

Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt.

Accuracy values are the same for German and British mortars regardless of AI or human use. The AI tends to grab more mortars than a human player would and will gladly stonk you proper.

The AI does pack up on mortars and once they zero in on a target, they are relentless. Move quickly after the spotting round if possible to avoid the barrage!
