I'd appreciate any advise you lot could offer in a separate thread I've started in the War Room subforum. Sorry, AW1Steve, not you. [;)]

I thought this game was "an experiment". NOW you tell me that you're serious......[8|]

Yeah , you really need it! "I've got an auto victory coming as I've already got a 5 to 1 victory point ratio. How do I make it 10 to 1?" [:(]

You two kill me! [:D]

I saw both threads but didn't even need to read them to know what they contain. BTW, I haven't read either of them yet...

Steve's: "I would like advice about a choice between A and B from the Grand Masters"

Andre's: "I have no idea what Steve is asking about, but I'll create a thread, too, just to get under his skin." [:D]

Launching Operation Trident. Three simultaneous landings, covered by 14 assorted carriers, every last one of them with their air groups set to Naval Attack. Bring out the Kido Butai, Penguin. Bring it.

Well, Trident KINDA worked. All three bases are secured and I can move up base forces and aircraft to achieve air superiority over New Caledonia. On the carrier war side, his planes showed up and failed spectacularly to score on my CVTFs. 160+ Jap carrier aircraft brought down for about 20 of mine. Unfortunately, his ships were out of range for a counterstrike, and I've only accounted for a Jap CL, 2 DD and 2 SS.

"Trident"? Not very interesting operational naming system. Should have gone for one more objective and launched operation "Quadrident".

On second thought, that would have been a lame name for a military op. Carry on.

I appreciated the random naming systems that were used in the past for military ops. Instead of "Desert Storm", "Desert Fox", "Desert blah blah", bring back "Urgent Fury", "Watchtower" or some of the other really cool names for ops. The Brits had some good amalgam names in the past too.

The PWT (Professional Walleye Tour). Boom baby. Of course you would be self-employed. But hey.

Don't you guys just drop to your knees every morning thanking God you know me.[&o][:)]
