The Brits had some good amalgam names in the past too.

Like last month's participation in the Normandy commemorations; Operation Cluster F*** [:D]

So, did everything get sorted out, or is it still an ongoing operation? [:D]

... and where's my turn, dude? [;)]

Six sub kills around Luganville and Efate over the past four days, according to the Intel screen. I probably got three, but that's not bad, especially considering that I lost no ships to sub activity.

Good morning! 10 days off!

First up is a long weekend of playtesting a new Grand Tactical Series wargame for Normandy. Reference #swordjunogold on twitter and/or Facebook this weekend for pictures and descriptions.

Next week is Boy Scout camp, a wall tent, a mobile hotspot, and a Boy Scout troop.

Sounds pretty cool, nashvillen.

Some of my best memories growing up were at Boy Scout Camp with Troop 86! I went to the 'traditional' camp in Texas and also to a Bass Fishing Camp (!) in East Texas growing up. Great times.

A scout is trustworthy, loyal, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent. Gah! Left out helpful. [;)]

My days of wall tents are done. I bought a camper [;)]

As a tip, scout camps do not have outlets. They do have light bulbs in the latrines. Go to the hardware store, and get a socket with an electrical outlet, and an extension cord.

Viola! Power to your tent! My last trip I was a God, with a laptop, a hotspot, and a fan [:D][8D]

Happy 4th to my fellow Americans! Up the revolution! Down with the King! [:D] And as part of my 4th of July tradition I'll be watching this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZfRaWAtBVg and 1776 , and eating a traditional Maine 4th of July dinner (Salmon pie with egg sauce ,new potatoes, fresh corn and new peas, followed by Indian pudding with home made ice cream) . Enjoy your holiday folks! [:)]
