Happy 4th to my fellow Americans! Up the revolution! Down with the King! [:D] And as part of my 4th of July tradition I'll be watching this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZfRaWAtBVg and 1776 , and eating a traditional Maine 4th of July dinner (Salmon pie with egg sauce ,new potatoes, fresh corn and new peas, followed by Indian pudding with home made ice cream) . Enjoy your holiday folks! [:)]
The dinner sounds great and the video was good for a nice chuckle. Ben Franklin needs to put his shirt on. That's all I'm sayin'. [:D]

The dinner WAS great , even if it was "Maine poor man's food" . TJ & The Revolution! The founding fathers as a headbanging metal band...who'd have thunk it? [:D]
(And Sam Adams needs to stop wasting beer!). [:D]

Thank you, fellow Thread brothers! Spent it testing a new game of the British/Canadian parts of Operation Overlord. Having a blast, even though it is on the other side of the world, it is still an invasion of hostile shores!

Dude...that sucks...[:(]
Kids are away to summer camp this week. Sleeping in late, catching up on old episodes of Firefly and Serenity, wasting time surfing the web, enjoying the quiet.
I've written them each letters which I'll put in the mail today. They should get them Thursday. But all that writing made my wrist tired. I think I'll take a nap. [>:][:'(][;)]

A question: How do you make a cheesed-off Danish? Put it in the oven for about 4 days at 95F. That about right, T? [8D]

Morning tithe.
New deck going in, old tree going out, Jury duty tomorrow, and maybe, just maybe, Century Link will fix my home internet connection sometime this week.
Could be worse. I could be going with Martin to look at penguins [;)]

RE: THE THREAD!!!
How big's your new deck, big guy? We've some wet rot going on on some of ours that will need replacement in a couple years. Hoping to sell the house before we put on a new deck though. I'd not be happy having to put $6-7k into a deck just to never be able to enjoy it...
