Zenox Portrait Tweaks

Post by Grimsley »

Thought I'd share some tweaks that I made to the Zenox portraits.

I'm not very experienced with image editing, so I apologize in advance if it's not that great, but I think that it turned out alright.

Essentially I thought that it was kind of strange that the Zenox always had their eyes closed - so I thought that it'd be fun to see what they'd look like with them open. However, one thing led to another and I ended up shrinking the nose and right side of the face slightly, moving the right ear. etc

In retrospect I probably should have made an eyes closed variant before I passed the point of no return, but there you go.

If anybody wants to modify/improve the result then feel free to do so. I thought that I'd share anyways.

Unfortunately I can't show example images in the post due to forum linking restrictions but I included an old portrait image in the zip for comparison.

Welcome to the forums Grimsley [:)]

Good result, never did like the closed eyes myself

Any chance you could add a few more color choices?

None to sure if these are legit colors but they do like funky [:)]

Wow, I really like it.

This could even lead to multiple images to be used for characters... :)

Sure.

I gave it a go - tried a few alternate eye colors and a few different uniform colors too.

I edited the original post so they should be in the new .zip.

Very impressive, would it be ok to credit you and use them in a theme?

Of course - I've got no qualms with anybody using them, adding them to something else or modifying them further at all.

I never was a fan of the default Zenox portraits, but it is sort of wierd how something as simple as eyes makes them look so much better.

Very nice, a definite improvement. Not a fan of the vanilla eyes closed or the extended Zenox portrait.
