I wonder what odds you would get on a West Ham win?

What is it, 14-1 in their last faceoffs, against the best home team...SHould be decent [:D]

And so the season draws to a close.

On an exciting final day, Warspite Hotspur FC scored 64 points to finally overhaul Lord of the Ings, while Matrix City FC consolidated third place.

I've got to say that was really good fun - thanks to Dixie for organising in the first place. The final table is below:

Australian Beauties Premier League 2013/14

1 Warspite Hotspur FC - 2,291
2 Lord of the Ings - 2,284
3 Matrix City FC - 2,252
4 Last post - 2,098
5 Laralayabouts2 - 2,018
6 FC Stricker - 1,898
7 Sardaukars - 1,848
8 Zeta16 - 1,828
9 Team Error - 1,814
10 Tired & Emotional - 1,767
11 Ormster United - 1,710
12 Les Paul - 1,679

Congratulations Warspite to a last minute come from behind victory. [:)]

Does the Spurs already contacted you? I think they are in dire need of someone with profound knowledge of the Premier League. [:D]

Congratulations Warspite. Unfortunately real life (tm) managed to interrupt my season and I ended up spending a lot of time away on courses etc. [:@] Bit of a bugger as I was hoping to manage the full season. Oh well, there's always next year I guess.

Thanks all. Spurs do not need me - they need to get rid of that Arsenal fan Daniel Levy....[:@]

Oops, yes.
That´s the stats of the entire squad of Matrix City FC over the course of the season.
Forgot to note that on the spreadsheet.

I doubt that I will join. While it was fun I completely forgot to change my team way to often. [:(]

Maybe I will join and just let my original team stand. [:D]

Good man Cribtop.

I know its early days, but no harm in getting in early.

I have set up a new league - imaginatively titled the Matrix Premier League

Please click on the link below to register

http://fantasy.premierleague.com/

You can then ask to join the league using the code below (don't copy and paste - that caused problems for a few of us last year).

Code to join this league: 89658-27593

Hope to see as many of you as possible this season [:)]

As this season's competition is sponsored by Matrix Games, the winner will win A FREE GAME of his/her choice*

* This of course may be completely untrue and just a crafty ruse to get peeps to compete, but I couldn't possibly comment. [:D]

Back in this year, hoping to improve on 2nd place.

Best bit about this season for me is when it asks "What premier league team do you support?", I can actually put in Burnley!

I'm in.

I'm genuinely unsure who to pick now. Stick with Aguero? Or swap him for a slightly cheaper alternative? I've managed to fit Toure (the good one!) Ozil, Ramsey, Aguero and Zabaletta into the team by making some sacrifices elsewhere. Mainly defence, but I might switch things about. The only area I'm really not sure on is the goalkeeper.

Good stuff - that's four of us so far, with two more having confirmed they will join.

That leaves four more to get to a nice round 10 - which should be the minimum for a sensible contest.

I suggest that the winner of this contest would be invited to join Lord Warspite1 and the semi-finalists of the ABMBWITWBOTF100BWAFEAI 2015 for a R & R cruise in the Caribbean.
