problem with the side

Post by fran52 »

I have prepared a new scenario with SS and Guard. The Russian Guard is the side one and the SS the 2 but when i start the scenario the part are inverted.Tyhe SS becomes the visible units if i chose Russian Human(like side 1).If i chose side 2 Human i can play with Russian but the SS AI play with the side one mode(attack instead of defence).
In the editor i have assigned correctly the side.
I'm confused,i'm not able to find the error. The csv is a custom .Is the Eastern Front.

Switching the nation on the scenario info menu only changes unit purchase list types and the names for the turns. For a 'backwards' scenario from the default (german side 1, russian side 2), you have to tell each counter to switch the side. Three ways to do this:

- Individually right-click each counter and pick Switch Sides.
- Set the sides before placing counters to russian side 1, german side 2, then it should default to the counters on those sides.
- There is a hotkey to swap everyone's side if something is totally backwards (like it sounds you are). Shift-S in the editor.
