I'm impressed. Subs were (rarely) sunk by torpedo during WWII. Interesting to see the AE combat engine can model it.
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

Could it be the sub's own torpedo, or would that have generated a message?

I think it must have been Shigure's torpedo, fired when the sub was forced to the surface.
I have seen combats where torpedoes were launched by a DD at a surfaced sub but missed.

You could look on the sunk ship list and see what the last hit was. If it was the torpedo you could determine if it was a circular run or a long lance.

It's rare, but this has been around since the days of UV.

Miller you old UV board dog you.

Good to see you're still around.

Seen plenty of sub on sub fish attacks.

Have to admit first time I have seen a DD on sub fish attack.

Gotta love it.
