Feature Request: different colours for the wireframe mode

Post by montanaza »

Was hoping for a blue and yellow combo?

The black is abit, well black for my liking.

Also, would be great if the land could be shaded in, and the ocean blue.

Is it possible to shade in and change the line colours via modding?

I used to be a fan of light gray for land and light blue for water in original Harpoon. However I usually run Command in Relief [:D]

For those of us without SSD's, relief mode has some performance challenges :)

It sounds like what we need is a couple of monochrome ocean map overlays and a couple of monochrome overlays for the relief map. I suppose you could just choose them in the map menu like one chooses the relief layer now and use whatever combination you wanted. Maybe the following would work...

Ocean Overlays: Black, Dark Blue, Light Blue

Land Overlays: Black, Dark Gray, Light Gray, Dark Green, Light Green

(That should provide enough monochrome combinations to satisfy most people).
