The Empire made some pretty serious Frank sweeps against Bassein and did all right, but weight of numbers was with us and we came out on top overall. See the plane losses data below. Our movements continue with no visible evidence of being spotted.

The raid by the main body of the fleet carriers went well, but did not find the same convoy with so many destroyers that was seen yesterday. DD Akizuki was reported hit 3 times by search aircraft in addition to being hit by a strike, and is reported sunk. She joined 21 xAK aside from the one taken by a sub. The fleet carriers' fliers had great exercise, although there were some losses.
