Incorrect winterized definition on 2d10 pdf

Post by Courtenay »

The 2d10 chart pdf supplied with MWiF is old, and has incorrect information.

The RAC state:
Winterized units are: Ski, MTN, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, and elite Russian units.
The 2d10 chart states:
Winterised units are Ski, MTN, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, white print SS and white print Russian units.

The older version included white print SS units (and Australian spelling), the current rules do not.

It would be nice if the chart were either edited to reflect the correct information, or replaced with a more recent version, whichever is easier.

(I had not realized the rules had changed until the discussion in another thread.)
I thought I knew how to play this game....

In the Manuals folder there is a JPG and a PDF version. I had not seen the JPG version before, but it looks correct. I have had an updated copy of the PDF for quite some time.

Here it is

You are referring to the PDF file of the ADG version of the 2D10 table. Yes it is out-of-date. We only included that file because we thought some players might prefer the color selection used by ADG.

All of the MWIF versions of that table are correct - and they appear in several locations in the documentation.

In hindsight, we shouldn't have included the ADG PDF of the 2D10 since it has the inaccuracy you pointed out (and perhaps some others?).
