No Paradrop Mod

Post by WarHunter »

For anyone interested in accurate counters reflecting the use of Option 35.
"Option 35: Any aircraft with a white range circle can fly a paradrop mission, even if it is not an ATR.
However, aircraft can’t fly a paradrop mission if they have a ‘no-paradrop’ symbol.
Clarification: If you are not using this rule, then the no-paradrop symbol is ignored."

Removing the symbol removes an eyesore. In a game lasting possibly 100's of hours.

If you use Option 35. No need for this Mod.
If you Do Not use Option 35. This mod has the files for you.
Also has files to revert back.

Included are 2 folders with files for Modified, Khaki and Original.
Pick the one that suits your game. Copy and paste to unit bitmaps folder.
Bitmaps 5, 8, 10, 11, 14
Total of 8 counters.

The program will not access an ATR that cannot be used to Paradrop with or without the symbol.

I'm sorry. I've read the bolded sentence multiple times and I'm not sure what it means?

The program only cares if option 35 is on or off.

Removing the "no paradrop" symbol is just cosmetic. It really means nothing.
In the end the mod is nothing more than a cosmetic change to please the eye.

Thats what I was trying to say.
