Last I recall, Larry wrote he was going to re-focus on WITP-AE for a while (after he wore out a few designers and other testers with his usual ultra-marathon-sprint play-tests). I see he was logged in on Aug 1 2014, although last posting was a few weeks back. (Yeah, I snooped; sorry, Mr. F.)

I too hope he's well, and look forward to hearing from him again.

Hey there you guys: I've been playing against the computer in a bout of WITP-AE and I got as far as
May of '43 before I got sick of WITP-AE. Now I'm testing the changes I made to Barbarosa '41 for
TOAW III. I've played the Axis side several times and won each time and so I thought it was
prudent to play the Soviet side to see if the scenario is still balanced and I've determined that as
far as I can tell it is balanced. So I'm playing the Axis side again to see if I can do a better job
than last time. I'll be done with all this testing in a couple of days. I can usually do about 5 turns
or so per hour and there's only about 48 turns so it's quick. I'm playing against the Soviet computer
player because I don't have a PBEM opponent. Also I'm playing using one of the latest versions
of TOAW III to find the bugs that are still in there. If any. I've got to start posting more so you guys
won't worry. Thanks for your interest and support. It's nice to have people concerned for you.

Maybe I should post a picture to show you what I'm playing now.

For what it's worth Larry I learned a ton about TOAW from reading your various AARs, glad you're still tooling away at it.

I'm glad you got some use out of what I tried to do. I'm still playing mostly testing the newest beta versions and therefore
posting in the private development forum but I've been thinking of doing a public AAR about some scenario or other. Any
requests?
