Convoy escort and exiting the map?

Post by jack54 »

This is not a big deal as I'm just tinkering around with the editor. ( plus I 'Still' have so much to left to play with the original scenario's and campaigns).

I was thinking about a convoy escort mission; let's say the Soviets are tying to resupply units that are off map to the west.

I see we can add exit hexes to the map but what's the best way to get a convoy of trucks to go there? Do I add VP to the exit hex or walk them there with some small VP hexes?

Can points be awarded to units that exit successfully?

Units should head to exit locations if they are close enough, but having a few breadcrumb low value VPs to guide them won't hurt. Player scores VPs for each unit that gets of map. As a tip do not place a VP on the exit. Units can get confused and camp there versus going off map.

Check Wolves Campaign. There is a convoy escort and exit mission in that campaign.
