Longest Day problem with Amfreville scenario

Hi, I have recently started playing CC Longest Day ( latest version ) and have run into a problem with the very first scenario ( so far it is ONLY this scenario ) This is the 'Amfreville' scenario. It goes through the set up and selection of units part Ok, but the moment you go to start the scenario itself, the game crashes, the Window says 'Windows has encountered a problem', tries to find a solution and of course, as Windows is famous for, fails miserably to do this.
So far, I've only tried a few other scenarios and they all work OK, it's only Amfreville that does this.
I'm running Windows 7, 64 bit.

Amfreville is a long and narrow map, and I have heard of issues where some video cards/drivers will have displaying this map when the screen is wider than the map itself.

Try going into the game options and using 'Windowed' mode (if you're not already) and/or lowering the game resolution, to see if that resolves the issue.
