AI in custom scenario

Hello, fellow generals!

I've been thinking about creating some custom scenarios recently. At first, for my own experimental purposes and then, if I am successful, for other players. It is mainly because I really really wish to play WW2 within this engine. With the help of the beautiful manual, I've learned how to create maps. Today, I've read through scenario creation tutorial really quickly. It is possible that I've missed this piece of information, but it is quite important for me. So here is my question: If I want to create human vs. AI type of scenario, do I need to script AI moves? Or is the AI intelligent enough, that I just need to provide it with tanks, infantry and other stuff and place objectives on map?

And by the way, I know that there's plenty of WW2 games in the world. But there's very few excellent engines like this one. I would pay a lot to smash some nazis in OTS game! [:D]

You have to use victory point locations to give the AI objectives to capture/defend, if you want the AI to move along a certain route you can use the VPs as breadcrumbs, Mad Russian explains it better here
