Windows 8.1

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Windows 8.1

My operating system is Windows 8.1. Will this game run on Windows 8.1? Has anyone run it using 8.1? Thanks for any feedback.

Thanks for the quick feedback. I'll be getting it since it will work. I have it's predecessors (BOB, etc.)but could not get them to work. Thanks again.

I am also running Windows 8.1, with no serious problems, although the game is sometimes hesitant and indicates 'not responding', but it always plays on. The 'Windowed Mode' appears in a small window, which cannot be adjusted on screen, but I could probably increase the size by changing the display resolution settings, which has worked with other games.

8.1 is fine for me as well. Resolution is a fixed 1024 x 768 so changing the display resolution is the only option.

Pity this didn't get a little more TLC; seems a further patch was promised but never materialized. I've been defending Matrix pricing recently, but to be honest I'm glad I didn't pay more for this; it really is far too long in the tooth, and distant in time from the last ongoing support, for the $60 range.
