It was busy today. I spent an hour (seemed like 20 minutes) talking to Reg, a former WOp on Lancasters. He flew with 50 Sqn from RAF Skellingthorpe which was later absorbed into the boundries of Lincoln itself. A tour of ops which included 10 trips to the Big City and what would appear to be quite a few other events and incidents. He was over the wing spars like a racing snake, certainly quicker than his son! He came alive when he was sat in 'his' old seat with the WW2 radios and electrics in front of him. In fact he was in there so long that he missed the last bus back to the car park!

Believe it or not there are "Game of Thrones" tours down there... few weeks ago they even placed the "Iron Throne" (actually used in the series) on public display... [:)]

BTW, wife and I like the series (I even read all the available books)!

Timing is everything, if you will note it was 9 minutes later than "the other" guy who, as you said, didn't even acknowledge his UNP. Mine was just a good morning and I noticed that he had already gotten the UNP, but didn't recognize it, so I didn't either.

Most of my INPs are just clean living! Unlike those that mess with poultry and tropical diseases that are full of all kinds of nasty things... [;)]
